Horseback Riding Lessons
At King's View Acres, we provide expert training and lessons in classical dressage tailored to riders of all levels, from beginners to advanced. Whether you're riding one of our skilled schoolmasters or your own horse, we create a supportive and educational environment to help you achieve your goals.
We specialize in English Dressage Training, the foundation for all equestrian disciplines. Our lessons focus on teaching riders effective communication with their horses while mastering basic and advanced movements to create athletic, happy, and well-balanced horses. At King's View Acres, our students learn more than just riding and horsemanship—they develop meaningful partnerships with their horses.
Our school horses are safe, highly trained, and experienced show horses—not re-sale projects or auction finds. We prioritize safety and a low-stress environment, ensuring that every rider feels confident and secure. With a focus on balance and control, our lessons prepare students to ride safely in the arena and out in the open. Every lesson is tailored to the individual rider's needs and goals.
Summer Lessons
Saddle Up for a Summer of Learning!
Each summer, we offer group lessons for current riders to maintain and build on their skills. New students can join to try out lessons without committing to a full school year (starting in the fall) and enjoy waived registration fees.
Group lessons will be offered on a month-to-month basis and billed at the start of each month.

Unbridle Your Potential with Private Lessons from Ellen and Izzy!
At King’s View, the nature of our programs means private lesson availability can vary between summer and the school year. To accommodate your schedule, you’re welcome to switch between instructors as needed.
Private lessons are available for riders of all ages and experience levels, using either our horses or your own. We offer a variety of quality school horses in different levels and sizes to meet every rider's needs. Lessons are 45 minutes long and focus on dressage and balanced seat basics, with an emphasis on building confidence, skills, and communication.
For beginners, lessons also include grooming and tacking instruction until students can perform these tasks independently. At King's View Acres, we are dedicated to creating skilled, confident riders who can handle and communicate effectively with horses of all types.
